NARSissist Duel Intensity Eyeshadow Palette- Limited Edition

I will start off by saying this palette can be a bit tricky to come buy as it was limited edition. You can find it online and some NARS Counters still have it in stock, but do not worry if you cannot find the palette as NARS still sell seven out of the eight colours in the permanent range, so you can pick up most of these colours very easily!

*PAUSE*- My luxury beauty giveaway worth over £50 is currently open (INTERNATIONALLY), If you want the chance to win some pretty makeup, head over now!

The NARSissist duel intensity palette includes eight shades that can be used wet or dry and last up to eight hours. I found that I got the best results using the palette wet and the pigmentation is insane! Surprisingly however, I found using the eye shadows dry worked really well also! They are very buildable and they do last as long as it says on the tin and even longer when applied wet.

The shades in order from left to right in the photo are:

  • Sycorax– Dark black with a satin finish- Subtle but buildable dry and super intense wet. Would work amazingly as a liner when wet.
  • Giove– A dark navy blue with a subtle forsty finish- this was very delicate when dry but completely transformed in to a bold blue when wet.
  • Lysithea- A pewter grey with a metallic finish- simply stunning. I love this colour and it looks equally amazing both dry and wet. It is very blendable and looks amazing with the blue and black shades for a very modern look
  • Andromeda- Light golden beige with a shimmery finish- A perfect highlight/inner conrner colour. Even when wet, it is still very subtle so i liked to use it to enhance the arch of my brow and brighten my eyes.
  • Europa– warm peach with a frosty finish. I lovvveeeee this colour! It works perfectly for my favourite vintage eye makeup looks and it lasts a really long time. The texture was very satin soft and pleasant to work with.
  • Himalia– Medium golden brown with a slight metallic finish- Probably my favourite colour in the palette, I find my self reaching for this one the most. It is very easy to blend and suits all skin tones and eye colours. It is simply perfect and looks amazing dry and wet.
  • Ursa Major– Dark brown with a pearl like sheen finish. This colour is the only one (as far as I am aware) that you can not buy individually. When wet, it looks very smoky and sultry and seems to apply lighter than it looks in the pan.
  • Subra- When wet this is a rich, burgundy purple with a pearl finish. It is perfect for creating dramatic looks and would work well with almost any skin tone and eye colour. It is very gothic and beautiful and really compliments brown eyes!

I would give this palette a high 9/10! It has amazing colour payoff and the shades are truly beautiful, I find myself using all of them which isn’t something that always happens for me when I buy a palette! What colour is your favourite?

Lots of love,
